My Top 10 Christmas quotes

christmas“Christmas isn’t  Christmas till it happens in your heart”
It is easy to forget to experience Christmas when we’re so caught up in doing Christmas. The endless preparations and shopping takes us farther away from the true meaning of this beautiful season.  So, here are my top 10 favourite quotes, that’ll hopefully remind us again what Christmas really is. Merry Christmas, everyone!

2) “At Christmas, all roads lead home.” ― Marjorie Holmes

3) “Blessed is the season which engages the whole world in a conspiracy of love.” ― Hamilton Wright Mabie

4) “Christmas is not a time nor a season, but a state of mind. To cherish peace and goodwill, to be plenteous in mercy, is to have the real spirit of Christmas.” ― Calvin Coolidge

6) “Peace on earth will come to stay, When we live Christmas every day.” ― Helen Steiner Rice

7) “Happy, happy Christmas, that can win us back to the delusions of our childish days; that can recall to the old man the pleasures of his youth; that can transport the sailor and the traveller, thousands of miles away, back to his own fire-side and his quiet home!” ― Charles Dickens

8) “Never worry about the size of your Christmas tree. In the eyes of children, they are all 30 feet tall” ― Larry Wilde
